It's a vision of the future, one that seems a lot more possible now than it did before 9/11 changed everything. Insert your favorite, and the message is still there. At heart, it's a commentary on the state of the world, and the zombies are just a representation of any number of enemies or fears. This is a horror film, but it's one with a lot of subtext, one that makes you think a little. If any of those facts make you grumpy, leave now-this movie isn't for you.
